Hey there dudebros its Intern Mike here again with another show recap.

On Wednesday the C&R show started off strong with an awesome SpotCenter. Damien the Hypnotist was as big of a hit now as it was then. So good news for everyone who wanted more, Damien is returning to the C&R show in June! Lets see what kind of shenanigans the guys can can themselves into this time.

Have you ever walked up to someone and completely called them by a different name? Well Rich did. While Rich and Covino were walking through the halls of Sirius and bumped into Kevin Meany, unfortunately for Rich the only words that were able to come out his mouth were….Richard Bey! Covino just took a step back and watched Rich unsuccessfully try to recover from his name snafu.

Are there things that you just don’t believe in? Well we found out on the show that there are a lot of things that Rich calls bullshit on including quicksand and carbon dating. Even after we showed Rich videos of actually quicksand he was still a disbeliever. Covino touched on some great aha and bullshit moments as we took calls.

Later on Rich brought up a really great point as Memorial Day weekend is coming up. When was the last time you jumped into a community pool? As Covino and Rich reminisce about some good pool times past Rich brought up that he is pretty disgusted by community pools. He related them to giant bathtubs and was particularly afraid of catching any wiener diseases. While some of you might think Rich is wack Covino chimed in and explained that pool health safety has become a big problem. Moral of story…watch out where you are cannon balling this weekend.

BREAKING NEWS!!! COVINO IS LEAVING RICH! Well not really, but Covino is being asked to demo a show about health and fitness with a world renowned strong man who the guys are calling “Beefcake Strongbow” until all clear is given to use his real name. I wonder if rich will come busting through the door screaming “Get your hands off of my co-host Beefcake.” We will just have to wait and see for that one.

Covino also brought to our attention an amazing new product that has just come out…Freshballs. If the name doesn’t give it away watch the video below for the full scoop.

On the show I also posed a question to the guys. Recently, I was in a situation where it was be and one of my buddies at a party with one good looking girl. So I asked the guys what the rules were for calling dibs and this is what they came up with:

1. Whoever calls dibs gets it;
2. Dudbro #2 can use his once a year appeal if he is really digging the girl;
3. No wasting time or you lose your dibb status (about a 30 min time limit); and
4. If the girl eyes a certain guy in the group that guy overrules all dibs rules.

Last up on the show Rich brings up a story about a recent female country singer, Shelly Wright, who had came out and said she was a lesbian. This singer had previously been dating Brad Paisley who is also a well known country music star. Rich’s quest was if you thing Brad Paisley was pissed or relieved to find out that Shelly was a lesbian. Covino chimed in with his thoughts saying that its better that she left him for another girl rather than for another shween.

Hey there dudebros, Intern Mike here with your Official Covino and Rich Show Recap.

This Monday started off with a celebration of the return of the Covino and Rich Show’s 4th hour in the form of Spotcenter. As a reminder to all of the dudebros, don’t forget to tune in to Spotcenter, which immediately follows Opie and Anthony on Sirius 108 XM 139 prior to the start of the Covino and Rich Show.

Next up on the C&R show was about when a shirt is just too small. Rich was taking a beating from Covino, Spot and the dudebros on the forum for his recent purchase of shirts from the Gayp. Are his shirts way too small or is Rich just more jacked then we think?

To prove Covino and Spot wrong Rich is going to be coming back in with his new smedium size shirt to show them that its just right size.

Have you ever banged a mom? The guys debate if you were ever attracted to one of your friend’s mom. Covino says that it’s all about bragging rights. Ryan from Utah called in about his best bud that had sex his wife’s mom after meeting her at a funeral. They guys also go over a recent news article that talks about Delonte West and Lebron’s mom getting a bit hot and heavy behind closed doors. Is Delonte looking for the mental edge of knowing he had sex with Lebron’s mom or is he trying to make super basketball babies?

As C&R went over news alerts they touched on the Hulkster making headlines again. Recently information has surfaced indicating that Hulk Hogan is suing Post Cereal for using his likeness in a Cocoa Pebbles ad. The commercial calls him Hulk Boulder, but It’s totally the Hulkster! Covino thinks that the Hulk should be happy that he is still relevant but Rich wants to know why he shouldn’t try to get a pay check for this ad, which definitely portrays Hulk Hogan and his amazing stache. Can two of Covino’s favorite things, Cocoa Pebbles and Hulk Hogan coexist!?

So over the weekend Rich brought up the idea of hiring a cleaning lady. Sara felt a bit hurt by his idea thinking that maybe she wasn’t being a good wifey. Rich says that if he gets a cleaning lady that is nothing against his woman. He just doesn’t want her to do the real dirty stuff around the apartment. Rich, Covino and Spot all debated on whether hiring a cleaning lady is just what you do in 2010 if you have money or if it just means you are lazy.

Next up on Convino and Rich the guys talk about what you should do when your friend talks to your woman too long. Covino goes over a story about his friend Nave who has been getting a bit friendly with women in Covino and Rich’s life. While the guys claim Nave is harmless he has the tendency to talk to their women for what seems like hours on end. So the dudebros tried to figure out when you should bail out your woman and come to her rescue as well as how to prevent the Nave. The moral of this story is remember etiquette and don’t talk to a guy’s girl to the point of uncomfortable.

To wrap up the show the guys have a look again at Spot’s relationship situation. This past weekend was a bit rough for Spot after having a rather uneventful trip to Atlantic City and catching UP on cable. Spot was crying in his ass soup and is considering trying to fix things up with his ex. Rich was definitely practicing some tough love trying to make it clear to Spot that crawling back into his relationship is just not a good thing for him. Spot thinks that the breakup wasn’t really a break up but more like just the first big blowout in his relationship and he wasn’t to sure how to handle it.

Who’s the big winner? Spotty’s the big winner! Congrats to Spotty for dominating the cupcake scene and winning with 41.9% of the vote on behalf of the Covino & Rich Show. And thanks to YOU for voting, and making Spotty’s dreams of becoming the cupcake king a reality.

Update: Sirius XM Cupcake contest

So yesterday on the C&R show, Rosie O’Donnell called in to confront Spot about the accusations she was dishing out. As a result, we presented her with the challenge that Spot would go to her house and prove that he made them by making them for Rosie’s entire staff. As you may have heard, Spot brought it and DOMINATED!! Here are some pics from today:

As you no doubt have heard, the Martha Stewart Living Radio Cupcake Contest has heated up severely. Rosie O’Donnell, host of Rosie Radio, has come out swinging, attacking our Spot on his credibility, and questioning whether or not he made his cupcakes or bought them from a local bakery.

The official word is this – spot thinks of cupcake idea, searches internet on how to accomplish idea, makes idea himself.

So show all those haters that our Spot is the real deal, and represents the C&R show by voting for “Spot’s Billiard Balls” on the Martha Stewart Blog (Voting ends Fri, 5/14 at 1p ET)
